| 110. How Many Years How many years has it really been Since your hand first touched my face I remember how soft your fingers felt As if touched by an angel full of God’s grace How many years has it really been Since your eyes did first look upon mine They were the deepest blue I’ve ever seen And sparkled liked diamonds created by heavenly divine How many years has it really been Since I heard your magic voice My ears succumbed to your siren’s call And but to follow you I had no other choice How many years has it really been Since you first graced me with a kiss I remember the fear that you wouldn’t do it But it was a moment that I’ll forever miss How many years has it really been Since you agreed to be my wife Though times haven’t always been easy I can’t imagine not having you in my life How many years has it really been Since we danced in the moonlight Please forgive my failure to remember But with you I cherish every night How many years has it really been Since we last shared a romantic sunset For despite all the things I take for granted My love for you I’ll never forget |
