| 133. This Morning When I left this morning How would you have known That I would not return To your arms tomorrow When I left this morning And kissed you goodbye You never would have guessed That you’ll never taste my lips again When I left this morning Would we have spent last night differently If you had known morning would be the end And no more moons would we see together When I left this morning Did you feel my love for you As I touched your hair and smiled Would you have turned away so quickly When I left this morning What clue were you given That fate would steal my breath Before I told you I loved you When I left this morning How would you have known That I now wait for you On the other side of your heart |
