157. Our Group

The years have flown by or so it seems
Since we first joined this fabled tribe
We’ve endured both trials and tribulations
Handling each assigned task in full stride

Comprised of both young and wiser
We gathered with all our glory
Each member a contributor to our success
It is only now we can tell our story

Our leader is an amazing woman
Whose brilliance is beyond compare
Mary Jo excelled at heralding our triumphs
To all the other executives and groups out there

If Rachel were from days of yore
Surely she’d be our town scribe
She’s seen to it that we kept on course
And helped us keep the creeps outside

Of Judi what more can you say
Her job and laughter were her passion
She was the glue that kept us smiling
And always admiring her sense of fashion

Matt controlled the tools that work
From food to heat to the sacred parking spaces
He triumphed at making our world a better place
And assured our employees had happy faces

Just think of buildings and real estate
And Derrick and John would be there
They managed the kingdom of Titan so well
That Derrick was recognized for exemplary care

When thoughts of trips did arise
Leigh and Mary Ellen would quickly pass the test
No matter where in the world we had to go
They assured that we all had a good night’s rest

Now lastly there is the writer Bob
Who is happy writing contracts or things like this
He and his suppliers helped save lots of cash
Those great discounts we’ll surely miss

So on this day we toast to us
And all the things we’ve done
For no matter where our roads lead
We must confess this has been fun

Though we now depart and go our ways
Maybe someday to share the same endeavor
We all leave behind a part of ourselves
Our memories we shall keep forever
