Your’s Truly It’s truly amazing to live and to learn To listen to words and wisdoms of the old It’s truly wonderful to read and to understand The greatest poets of the age and the lessons to be told It’s truly exciting to listen to the laughter of children And watch as they spread joy and happiness to all around It’s truly glorious to slowly open your eyes on a warm summer day And to feel the heat of the sun and to see the dew on the ground It’s truly remarkable to look at your face and see the changes That age and happiness and friendship paints as a smile It’s truly beautiful they way that your eyes sparkle When we just cuddle quietly and don’t talk for a while It’s truly impossible that I would find your heart Beating quietly in a crowded room of a hundred other women It’s truly unforgettable how you laughed as we spoke With the inner knowledge that we had met before but not knowing when It’s truly my own great luck that you would see within my soul A man lost wandering to learn if you did exist It’s truly a trick of time that not much time did pass Before you redirected my thoughts and cleared my mind of mist It’s truly a gift from above that I would now know That such a woman as you was sent for me It’s truly God’s gift to me that I can plainly say My love, the world is now right and we were meant to be |
