| 162. Anything But Small Who could have guessed that small would impress Those who think nothing but being just okay? When you did arrive they thought you would leave Because they preferred to keep things their way So despite this and that you assembled your team And set about making them give some attention Despite tepid support you marched straight ahead Quickly gaining notice despite their apprehension Though they tried to stop you in your first year Solely due to their desire to save more monies You quickly showed them the error of their ways Reaping results through more contracts with fixed fees The client became your ally as your pushed straight ahead Gaining high regard from communities both near and far Regardless of whether they knew what you really did To those that understood you were really a star Being honored by your peers and those you did work Is a testimony to both your effort and lots of sweat So although you time here required you to strive You should take pride in achieving goals that weren’t to be met As you now say goodbye and depart in fine spirit To venture forth once more to a new career Take solace in the fact that you’ve done a great job We wish luck and at least the success you had here |
