| 188. Greatness What is it that makes one great? Is it being famous or head of state? Are we born with an amazing way? Or do things just happen at work and play? Why are there only a select few When most of us want to be great too? Did fate turn the cards at our birth And determine our value and worth? Or is greatness just a state of mind Molded by publicists and those of such kind? But think carefully and you’ll agree That greatness is beyond what you can see It resides in the hearts of you and me For as we walk and take our children’s hand Guiding them to maturity as only we can For in their eyes we are their light Greatness is what tucks them in at night |
