| 19. Could It Be I know there is a place where time stands still The place where rainbows come to breed It is a place of hope and joy with marshmallow clouds Spilling over fields of dreams where unicorns rest and feed A million stars dot the skies as painted smiling faces Not a tear is shed for unhappiness nor ever a raindrop falls To blow out a candle and have the truth be known Is to feel the passion of nature and all its animal calls There is a place of undaunted beauty and love A place where there is no worry of pain or fear It is a place where nightmares are checked at the door And replaced with hugs and kisses and your own teddy bear There is a place that I now know has life Which has hidden itself from me for ages It is a place that poets and romantics have sensed existed And tried to create it within their hallowed pages It is such a place that I now hold the key To open the door to my existence and all there is yet to be It is this place that lies within your heart That my smile heralds my discovery for the entire world to see |
