| 191. Fat A simple molecule of some fat Spawned some days after I was born Traveled around my inner self Feeling lonely and forlorn Then one day he had a thought Of playmates did he envision He wished to never be alone again To this end he started on a mission He spent some time at the brain Who regarded him with confusion For although Fat was supposed to be bad Obviously the eyes were blinded by illusion The taste buds agreed and did concur That Fat wasn’t such a bad guy For when they met Fat’s other friends They invited them in to sit and lie When the rest of the body heard That excitement came in all tastes and flavors They invited Fat and his friends to visit them Forgoing keeping fit and other such silly labors So the years did pass with major girth Fat taking my body for his domain Despite my best attempts to send in help He repelled all with great disdain And then one day when hope was but gone A mirror alerted me to change my thinking I dug deep inside and recruited Will My body would surely be shrinking But Fat resisted and gave a fight Giving not an inch until felled by a Diet He couldn’t get the hands to give in And the taste buds to simply try it So on this day with Fat but gone I stay vigil as I guard my nether regions For despite how much I would like to eat I’d prefer not to give in to Fat and his corpulent legions |
