| 26. It’s a Rap At lot people know me and call me Bob Mostly it’s because of my position and job I get to spend money on the behalf of our firms I negotiate great rates and get good terms I have a fine office and my window is pretty cool But not as nice as retirement and sitting by the pool My desk is never cluttered because I hate such things I try to keep it polished and free of coffee rings On a daily basis people come and go Some trying to sell me, others just want to know I try to mind my manners but its quite tough Especially when I hear the same old things and really have had enough I used to have my own company with a title to match But I must admit I like my present job only there’s one catch Because as I sit here working with the time whizzing by The substance of my creativity will never take wing and fly |
