260. Sleepless Nights

Who could dispute the facts
Pregnancy gotten by misbegotten deeds
Innocent flirtations turning to sex
Forgotten lectures about birds and bees
Where was restraint amid rabid hormones
Common sense succumbing to the drink
One’s future lost in the elixir of music
Consequences distorted by the failure to think
Too young or too old doesn’t matter
When frivolity gives way to delights
What had been just minutes of pleasure
Will soon turn to sleepless nights
