| 279. Together You fill my thoughts with visions of beauty The sight of you makes me breathless When you take the time to talk No greater gift do I value as so precious While we’ve flirted and danced around Our words have been tethered as a friend Though I desire to have something else To not want so much I surely must pretend We’ve shared great times and many laughs Our secrets have been heard and spoken Since we’ve become the best of good friends Could we ever chance to have our hearts broken? You are the love that I never had I covert you like no other being Surely you must be blind to my thoughts If only you could use my eyes for seeing But alas since some things will never be For your preferred type is something different I just guess I’ll take pleasure in being with you And be thankful for the tome together we’ve spent |
