Let’s have lunch
At your house today
I’ll bring the flowers
And the meat
You’ll serve the sweets, okay?
We’ll make a sandwich
Of all that we are
Wrapped within a delicate bun
The preparation
May take some time
But it really could be quite fun
A toast we’ll make
To lunchtime frolic
Enjoying all there is to eat
If having lunch
Could be so great
Dessert will be a treat
