333. The Eagle

A majestic eagle soared up high
So far above the sea

Surrounded by nature’s clouds
A simple life so free

But looks can be deceiving
Especially when we don’t know

All life has ups and downs
No matter where you may go

The eagle soars not for fun
His travels meant to feed

For his shadow signals death
Caution his prey must heed

Be content in what you are
Because life is what you make it

To some others you soar above
For living is as good as it can get
