340. Food

I couldn’t stop although I tried
A dozen desserts laid side by side
Although a simple bite would have done
My mind required some culinary fun
I engorged my stomach with the sweets
I couldn’t decide between so many treats
So I just inhaled them all
And for another round I did call
For although I’ve seen my hefty weight
I couldn’t resist cleaning my plate
Though people just don’t understand
I’m never happy without food in my hand
