344. Darkened Wisdom

Darkened wisdom beset by dreams
Held hostage by thoughts of wealth
Logic misplaced by frivolous actions
Being true to no one but yourself
The gold coin misplaced by greed
Costs far more than it is worth
Precious gems and minerals remain hiding
Elusive wealth for those on earth
Value placed on things without virtue
The honor of one’s word a silent lie
Roads taken without thought or remorse
Lend no substance to those that die
Take heed in who or what you are
Life passes quicker than the falling sun
Remember that some things aren’t meant to be
Waste not your life before it has begun
