351. Damn It

I should have talked
But said not a word
Fearing the rejection
She sat all alone
A vision of beauty
Just waiting for affection
Though not so shy
Or I have been told
No words came to mind
Our eyes did meet
A number of times
She I had been hoping to find
But here I sat
In a silent jail
A prison to a single thought
Of course she left
I left alone
Losing what I had once sought
