A Slip A slip of the tongue And down I fell A victim to my thinking I said some words Not quite nice I blame it on my drinking I should have known Words can hurt Especially when you trip I hadn’t intended To be the one To nurse my own fat lip But I grin My devilish smile For it doesn’t matter To say such things About his girl No human is much fatter |
