| 358. When Things Go tell the rooster to crow his morning sound Daylight is approaching and a new day is coming round There are things to do and many places to go Awaken all the children and clothe them from head to toe The circus is a coming and excitement is in the air Dress in all your finery and come down to the town fair Gather all your families and journey to our main street They’ll be plenty of stuff to do and many things to eat So remember how things used to be before our techno years When things were just so simple then no reason for our fears Take heed to do things slower and listen to your brain For life can be even happier without the need for gain |
