| 367. A Peaceful Place A wind blew lightly across the field Butterflies danced upon the flowers of spring Birds chirped in harmony with crickets Happiness to earth did nature bring A stroll so leisurely brought us joy Our hands clasped together so tight We walked in rhythm with our hearts Our vision filled with such a wondrous sight No words were spoken nor even thought For a moment in time we were alone Two lovers together in a special place A more peaceful place never known And then we kissed as lovers do Both understanding what we now had For we’ll always remember this moment Through good times and through bad |
