| 427. His Passing Darkened clouds did set the mood No sunlight needed for the occasion A somber moment had now come For we had lost a leader of our nation The wind does whisper his words now Saved within our souls and hearts We pray not for his passing death But to rejoice as each new life starts For his wisdom and greatness saved us all He lead us across our own Red Sea Through his leadership we lived and prospered To remain forever the land of the free So as his body is laid to rest Our final words said for his goodbye We thank the Lord for giving him to us For his passing we do grieve and cry |
