436. Sensible Solutions

Sensible solutions is what they’re called
Taking actions to preclude a threat
Careless decisions made forgotten too quickly
Especially if they’re no repercussions yet
Simple omissions to do or to say
Made in the heat of growing romance
Hormones jumping to engage in pleasure
Forgoing discretion for just a chance
Relative time is but fleeting
From start to cumbersome end
Kisses given and taken without emotion
Black and white rules forced to bend
The death of a fetus taken without feeling
The desire to eliminate a forgivable mistake
Judgments made on what to do always
No one’s choice but the mother’s to make
Short lived excitement affects forever
Breath saved or taken with lacking care
Children left to make adult decisions
Tortured souls with a child to bear
