Can It Be True Can it be true That I’m not like you My father lives high in the sky Though I do live With wisdom I give It is now I wonder why I’ve felt alone My heart colder than stone My life passing as blowing air Could it be true There is something I knew I was sent here from there Don’t be surprised Wipe the tears from your eyes You’ve prayed for my return Now that I do come You’ll say I’m crazier than some And curse my soul to burn Yet I beseech you Forget what you knew My father is wiser than all For I know why For you I do cry I’ll listen if you call |
