504. The Scent

The scent of perfume awakened my senses
My loins once slumbering now stirred
A myriad of thoughts excited my libido
Something wonderful was about to occur
My quickening heartbeat started my fires burning
An inner warmth grew and began to spread
I couldn’t concentrate except on a vision
One that undoubtedly included a bed
And then I saw you fast approaching
My eyes the last to know you were here
Neither distance nor time can stop my yearning
The excitement still grows as you draw near
Though together we’ve been apart many a year
The separations tugging at the ties that bind
Missing hours counted by a fleeting calendar
No deterrent for a faithful and committed mind
I’ll remain yours and will forever not stop trying
My devotion is as ageless as He is above
For when I finally have you close and near me
Heaven could never again create a greater love
