510. Glossy Ads

They need to burn all those magazines
The ones that show a great physique
Only a few will ever possess those dimensions
An unreachable goal for the rest to seek
They’ve corrupted our minds to find perfection
Our standards for partners set too high
When first impressions don’t measure up visually
We prefer to walk away then to give it a try
Many a great romance has never occurred
Either party failing to match the cover
Distorted ideals tainted by color pages
No glossy ad will ever need a lover
