536. A Star

I see your pain but I feel it not
Your tears turn cold my heart
This time has come because of you
There was no easy way to start
You looked so great in your attire
If only your performance was the same
Instead you thought you’d mess around
Why you’re here there’s no one else to blame
I’m sure you thought you’d get a raise
Your peers were mesmerized by your charm
But for those of us who know what gets done
You’re being here does nothing but harm
So as you leave and walk away
Know that good looks go only so far
Shaking you hips and tossing your hair
Will never make you a star
