Little Johnny Student
Sat on his bed
His homework was unfinished
No wisdom filled his head
He spent yesterday playing
Video games were so fun
After milk and twenty cookies
His homework never begun
His parents didn’t know
Or didn’t seem to care
They were much too busy
Watching TV from their chair
So it is that Johnny lives
Falling further far behind
Another child’s future lost
Society loses another young mind
