580. Justice

I sit in judgment of my brethren
My robes flow with velvet disdain
The law is as I deem it readable
To exact my decisions I do not refrain
No constitution or laws do stop my edicts
For I alone control the fate of souls
Regardless of motions or writs I don’t listen
Justice given as my own wind blows
I laugh and snicker at the legal system
No hope for those without money or gold
Punishment is easy to give without repercussions
Promising young lives never to grow old
Though not evil I give no leeway
My sole purpose in life to grant pain
An appearance in my court reaps only sorrow
Everything to lose and nothing to gain
Justice is blind because I do its seeing
An aged man who success has long faded away
But no fool am I as I do know my power
Set temptation aside and just walk away
