604. A Kiss

I touched my lips and for a moment disappeared
My thoughts took flight and soared so very far away
I closed my eyes and remembered what had happened
No greater joy experienced than that of yesterday
Two lovers were we so entwined with ourselves
The boundaries of possibilities interlaced within our fingers
The search for passion completed for a brief moment
The fulfillment of happiness on my lips still lingers
Two strangers were we not so long ago
A quirk of fate ordained by all that we do care
A simple kiss
