| 615. Someday No star will brighten your sky tonight The heavens are filled with such sorrow Dreams and wishes create not pots of gold Rainbows never give birth to tomorrow So wipe away the tears that do fall Cry not for passions now gone astray Let your soul seek shelter in my thoughts The sunrise will always bring a new day Though much older your ears hear not my counsel Actions taken by youth listens never to the wise Hearts will forever be broken by teenage romances No harm in experiencing love no matter the tries Take comfort that the road you take is already paved Although your father I feel your pain deep inside For as you walk forward I’ll always be next to you Someday you’ll make some a special bride |
