629. Misbegotten Love

The startling uncertainty of life unresolved
Days grow shorter by the passing of the sun
Colors once brilliant fade so gradually
Betrayed by happiness better never to have begun
Eyes no longer able to shed a tear
Failings splashed so easily upon the ground
Things taken for granted always have new meaning
Actions once upsetting are missed when not around
Moistened lips lay perched upon romantic drought
Poetic speech falls speechless upon deaf ears
Sounds of forgiveness never to be spoken
No longer to be loved among man’s greatest fears
Think carefully in life eclipsed by our misdeeds
Passion begets siblings of human darkness
Misbegotten love satisfies nobody’s needs
