| 640. Slumbering Giants I call on thee oh slumbering giants Awaken from the sleep of things unreal Arise from your graves of forgotten stories Return to the world of warmth you once did feel Man’s progression has set aside his need for a hero Though belief in demons and saints is now accepted Gods do not exist except on comic pages No more are your names heard in prayers once said Technology and religions more powerful now rule our thoughts Aged wisdom lost forever to printed words and books The need to be different left to clothes and tattoos The desire to believe in a difference brings dirty looks Progress has forced us to accept what we are taught The need to dream is slowly fading with each day So important is it now for mankind to see the unexpected Please help deliver us before we surely lose our way |
