656. Our Parents

I hate the fact that we all grow old
Our parents who cast us out now in need
Poor planning by the elderly never knowing
Responsibility created by our father’s seed
Money is required as is our help
Punishing actions forgotten by the aging mind
Youth forgets not unpleasant happenings
Disappointments brushed aside for memories kind
Sibling bickering replace childish bonds
Currency more important than electrical pasts
Favoritism overlooked when things are needed
Blood runs deeper than relationship lasts
The desire to displace those that hinder
What happened to others returns once again
Hardships created by unfair divisions
A solution not possible until the bitter end
