| 667. Our Little Boy Your wagon sits waiting our little boy As do your bat and pitcher’s glove We stored your dreams in chests of gold Carefully wrapped with special gifts of love Though still hidden you’re always with us Your little toes kick with such delight So eagerly we anticipate your coming delivery Praying that soon will be that special night While we’d like to think you’re a miracle Surely God has smiled on our family from above He made it possible for your parents to find each other Now together as a family we’re able to share our love Sleep well our child for your day now approaches May your thoughts be filled with such ethereal joy Shortly you’ll be free to experience the world Adventure waits as you become our little boy |
