| 81. Passage of Life Lightness of being bereft of sensation A stark awareness of untied earthly bonds A sense of completion unshackled from logic A heart once filled with contentment and joy Limbs dangle without purpose or position Finality of inaction and incomplete errands Eyes stare blinded not by light but by dark Sight without seeing, beauty no longer to enjoy Thoughts without purpose give way to the void A mind submerged in sleep without end Words left unsaid never to be repeated The voice of silence sounds a deafening echo Oratories given but never quite heard Remembered by neither enemy nor friend Time left unused is lost to us all The passage of life never moves slow |
